• Amony Harriet, Director

    Amony Harriet has over a decade of experience working with children and youth from multinational refugee communities living in Uganda. She has over a decade experience in program planning and implementation, a proven ability to self-start and motivate employees to make the most of their potential, and exceptional relationship building skills. Harriet is passionate about building communities, and creating safe spaces for children, youth, and the elderly. She has a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy from Cavendish University Uganda.

  • Acwako Diana, Facilitator

    Acwako Diana is currently a student of social work and social administration focused on child counseling and protection at Victoria University Kampala. Working as a facilitator with Gunduatid Initiative, Diana helps the children create their daily work plans and goals, ensures resources the children need are available, observes and assesses the children’s interests, and facilitates daily operations at the center.

  • Nanyunja Suzan, Counselor

    With over 20 years of experience in counseling, Susan Nanyunja Kigundu brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her practice. Trained in the CWR model, Susan adopts an eclectic approach, tailoring her methods to meet the unique needs of each client. She is passionate about helping both adults and children navigate emotional challenges and discover their next steps. Susan shares her home with her foster daughter, her mother, and Brownie, the beloved Tom cat. In her free time, she enjoys baking and gardening.
